Terry d. Schlotterback, Chairman of the board
Mr. Schlotterback brings a wealth of medical device knowledge garnered from his 30+ years in orthopedics. Over his career he has held Vice President-level positions in Product Development, Engineering, Innovation and Marketing Services. He served as Vice President of Area Sales for Zimmer Americas and Vice President of Global Services where he developed a worldwide data base management system, a Physician Practice Management Program and a Digital Templating System. Mr. Schlotterback also served as Zimmer’s Vice President of New Product Development where he developed an innovative process that led to the introduction of the industry’s first minimally invasive techniques for total hip and knee replacement. He served as President of Zimmer Spine and went on to serve as President of Zimmer Trauma.
Rod K. Mayer, Board member
Mr. Mayer has been in the orthopedic business since 1977. He started his orthopaedic career with DePuy serving 18 years as a union employee, marketing trainee, sales associate, Independent Agent, member of the Sales Advisory Board, Business Development Director of their ProSource Division, and full-line Distributor serving on the President’s Council. His history in the orthopaedic industry includes extensive experience in sales, distribution and business development.
Brian Hodorek, Board Member
Brian has been in the orthopedic industry since 2001, with experience within R&D including product development engineer, group manager, and Director of R&D for large and mid-size companies. Brian has been focused on Upper Extremity his entire career with a majority of his work concentrated on shoulder and elbow arthroplasty, holding over 30 patents issued or currently in prosecution. He has lead global teams in designing and launching flagship shoulder and elbow systems for multiple companies.
Matt Purdy, Board Member
Matt has been in the orthopedics industry since 2004, with commercial experience spanning fortune 50, mid-cap and an entrepreneurial startup companies. Matt has spent the vast majority of this career focused in the upper extremity market with a concentration in shoulder arthroplasty. His positions have included Sales Support Roles, Product Management and Director of Marketing where he led a team in creating and promoting a world class product portfolio with some of the most influential surgeons in the world.
